Geez aint you guys heard of Blockbusters! Ok a little more expensive but you don't wait for hours and you know it's gonna work first time!

Actually with a fast connection my Giganews kicks Blockbuster's butt. I used to do the game pass and movie pass yeasr ago. It's way more cost effective for me to pay Giganews $25 a month to be able to download all the games and movies I want instead paying Blockbuster $40 for both passes. Also with the newsgroups I can grab software, music, pron, tv shows... well you get the picture.

Yep....HOORAY FOR NEWSGROUPS!!!
I got a letter from my ISP for downloading the movie The Grudge when it first came out on bit torrent, scared the sh!t outta me, haven't touched any P2P software since.
Anybody know anybody that got a letter from downloading console games using regular torrent trackers/connections or "black cats" type trackers/connections?

I have a blackcats account and also a giganews subscription. Newsgroups are better, but I wouldn't give away my blackcats account.

it has been so many days i have waited to register for a black cat account, i guess it's really true that they will permanently close the registration once and for good.

Real pros that aren't part of the scene use newsgroups but I also support BC, TL and occasionally sky.
Only sites that I see that have open registration is bitsoup and Ilovetorrents.
No time for Leap frog!!!

not true anymore, BC has completely closed their registration. there was a note on the main page the other day when i logged in saying they arent going to allow any more members to join. so im thinking everyone that isnt already a member is out of luck.
