hmm its way to expensive now a days. trust me you would be better off trying to find a friend with a cfw psp. having a pandora would be safer and more profitable for you. if u dun have a friend with apsp there is always ebay... but i still think pandora is probly cheaper then lumines (plus the upside that u cannot brick)

hey u don't need Lumines
try pandora's battery (mem & bat)
then back to 1.50 > 3.52m>>>> 3.71 m33-2
you dont need get a new bat or mem
You can use his own battery and mem stick again right
If you only have one battery and want to unbrick/downgrade your PSP, you can.

1) Convert your battery into a jigkick one using "Pandora's Battery Creator", but before you press X, press TRIANGLE to backup your battery's EEPROM to ms0:/eeprom.bin
2) Unbrick your PSP as normal
3) When you are done unbricking, take out the battery and the magic memory stick. Start up the PSP using the AC adaptor (do not try to use a USB charger, it will not start up)
4) Insert the magic memory stick and the magic battery
5) Run "Pandora's Battery Creator" again
6) Press L+R to restore the ms0:/eeprom.bin to your battery

NOTE: You can also restore a battery without having made a backup, by pressing SQUARE at step 6. This will generate a fake serial for your battery (0x12345678) which allows it to work normally.
work for me.!!
my psp bricked on march-2007..."now it's alive"""
hope this help

He would still need a PSP w/ CFW to create the battery. He could buy the "tool" battery can't remember who makes it right now. Then he could use the GUI made by mrdude to create the Magic Mem Stick.

I'm not sure of the cost of the tool battery, but I do have a copy of lumines I would sell you for $13.00 what I paid for it plus shipping.

I would personally go the tool battery route myself this way when all is said and done you have the ability to unbrick and downgrade yours and any other PSP you want. With lumines all you have is a downgrader for 3.50 - 3.52 OFW (May be slightly off on FW versions NO sleep makes memory like swiss cheese)

From the readme for the Illuminati Exploit (lumines downgrader) it is good for 3.10-3.50 OFW. Sorry for the misinformation earlier.
Well hope this helps.

i have yet to come across a datel tool battery. ebay doesn't have them because it's said to be illegal. and there are mixed reviews about it working or not. i'd rather get a higher capacity battery than the tool battery.

lumines only works with 3.50 or 3.11. anything higher requires pandora's battery.

look HERE and HERE for people near you who can downgrade.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Yes. Pandora's Box is the GUI made by mrdude. The battery should work fine, never had one but as long as it goes to service mode then you would be set.
