is it official 3.52 or 3.52 m33? if it's official, it has to be downgraded, and then upgraded with custom firmware.

you need pandora's battery/magic memory stick to downgrade. only psp's running 1.50/custom firmware can make them. don't buy them either, it can be made for free.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

its 3.52 b?

Go to System Settings then System Information and reply back to what the System Software entry says.

If your on a custom firmware like 3.52 M33 then try the below steps...

Make sure the title of the ISO/CSO is short.

Example:

Correct -- Fifa07.iso
Not Correct -- FIFA-07-[PSP][EUR][www.torrent site.com].iso

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Now right click on the ISO/CSO file and choose Properties. Make sure the Read Only and Hidden box is unchecked and the Archive Box is checked.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Go into recovery mode (Hold R shoulder button down while turning on PSP)

Now go to configuration then to UMD MODE and keep pressing X till you see Sony NP9660 NO UMD.

When it is set to the above setting go to BACK and press X.

Now go to ADVANCED and press X.

Go to ADVANCED CONFIGURATION and press X.

Make sure all the settings here are disabled.

Now EXIT out of recovery.

Now try the ISO/CSO.

i'm guessing he said "it's 3.52, but..."

there are no downsides in downgrading. actually you get better benefits.

Hi there,

I recently upgraded to CF 3.72 Hx 2 and added the kernel addon to enable the 1.50. On Phat PSP TA082

My settings in the recovery are exactly as pointed out in this post. Initially my Isos won't play then I shortened the name and set the Sony no UMD and started working again.

My homebrews are in the GAME150 folder and they won't start. They give me the exact same error at the beginning of the post, i.e. black screen and then 80020148 error.

I also tried to swithc the kernel to 1.50 and run the homebrews either from GAME or GAME150 folders. Nothing.

I've searched around for a solutions and everyone who had the same problem, once solved they won't say what they exactly changed (which I find very disturbing)

I updated the Homebrews to the latest version. They were perfectly working on my previous CF 3.10

Thanks in advance for your help

No hijacking threads - best bet since you've already searched is start a new thread with your problem.
