Unable to magic memory stick error??

Anyone please help me am trying to create magic memory stick with C-D easy installer and it gives me "error <write>". I tried it on 2 & 4 GB fake memory stick pro duo. Is it because they are fake....????

Thx a lote dude I was able to get that card finally after a couple of formats and rest all went smooth as baby I got 3.52M33-4 running and am luvin it.
