I like to do a froogle.com search to find the cheapest location. I search for ritek dvd-r and sort from lowest to highest. The cheapest I found for 4x g04 were about 32 for 25 spindle.

They do sell Ritek DVD-Rs in the USA. You can find them on many of the online stores. My favorite is http://www.precisioncddvd.com

www.rima.com is another good online store, they're based in California I think.

I've placed a few orders with them over the past six months and never had a problem. Their prices always seem to be very competetive too - I just got 200 Ritek (Ridata) 1X-2X discs for $.80 each.

Verbatim seems to be all over the board. The current 50 pack I bought for $59 (Datalife, not plus) barcode no. 23942 94584, ID as Ritek G03. This is the standard price at Sam's Club.

I use either newegg.com or pricewatch.com. I've used Ritek 4x +r and Arita (made by Ritek) 4x +r and have had no problems on my Liteon LDW440 (dual burner) and Liteon 166 dvd-rom nor on two of my tabletop dvd players - fisher and jvc.
