hows it going, I just bought a dbox off ebay, it came with Newest LINUX NEUTRINO UK image loaded, I scaned and i only got 57 channels,
do i have to flash a different image to get the rest of the channels
and can I do it with a null modem cable?

Upload the cables.xml from irish10.zip, select the right provider and do a scan.

cheers man, one other question when connecting to the box can i use
the cable 4 connecting to the internet or do i have to go out and get a cross over cable? thanks

You need a crossover network cable for a direct connection between box and pc.

ok i finally got my crossover cable and uploaded the services file,
now though i do a scan and don't pick up anything!

You have to choose the right provider in the provider line.
I you cannot change anything in that line you didn't delete the file scan.conf in var/tuxbox/config and pulled the plug.

now the only provider showing is German something?

Move the highlighted bar to the provider line and choose with the ok button what you want.
