You should get a custom firmware first. Thats where all the fun
begins. http://www.sendspace.com/file/7ziefh .. download the
winstaller and run it when you have connected your usb to the computer
because when you run it, it automatically puts the kxploit patcher and
m33 firmware update on your psp. When the files are installed, run it
under your psp game menu. make sure your battery life is at 75% or
higher with the charger plugged in just incase. I'm sure you can
handle finding that out. You then format your memory stick when on
3.52 m33. As for your xmb, you might as well install a whole new
theme. go over to google.com and type in psp xmb theme downloads or
something and find a theme you like that you can download. Once you do
all that and get the folder after extracting the file, you have to
swap the files with the original ones. When you get custom firmware,
you get access to a RECOVERY menu, and you can access that by turning
your psp FULLY off, then Holding the R trigger down while holding the
power switch up until the recovery menu shows up. You can do a lot of
things in here if you didn't know. As for theme switching, you go to
advanced configuration in the recovery menu, then hit 'flash0'. Your
now connected with the flash0 on your computer. 1st thing you want to
do is make a backup of these files. You can delete the 'DIC' folder to
make room because that folder is not needed and its the best start to
make ram space. when replacing files, dont replace the whole folder.
Replace the PRX or RCO or whatever one by one.
you can get everlasting themes...
here http://www.mediafire.com/?4nfk2ijvssy, or if you dont
want to download that many, heres a few to choose from

Hope that helped you a little.
