No, not really, the chances are of people making an alternative downgrade to the Pandora Battery are pretty slim at this point.
Wait half a year or so? Maybe something will come up then... really your only option is Pandora.

hey! lets see....to make a padora battery i need someone with cfw right?but is it needed that he must make it with or without the battery(he must have a pandora battery?)because i kow someone with 3.11 ofw.after i make his cfw he'll be able to make a pandora battery without having(he musn't have pandorra battery right?)pandora

What you could do with his 3.11 is to downgrade that with the game Lumines (You'll need the official UMD) to 1.50, then with that PSP you can make a Pandora Battery and use it on your own PSP.

psp fw history:2.00>2.71>learned about homebew didnt wait long enough>3.00>3.10>3.11>3.40>3.51>softmodded a battery>upgraded to 3.71 m33>3.71 m33-2>1.50 addon 2 -lucky enough not to brick!-

Why would you want to run Devhook on 3.71 M33? As far as I know there isn't a Devhook version for 3.71 M33.

To be honest i really hope you can't run DevHook on 3.71 M33, it'll start to avoid some confusion, and make people realise it now has no use what-so-ever.

No, you can convert the battery back for normal use afterwards.
