Hi everyone, I've been monitoring this forum for a long time and now it's time to ask you a little help....
I have a problem with the visualization of some games on my ps3.
I have a PAL ps3 and I bought it instead of a X360 because of the possibility to play NTSC games...
So I bought All Pro Football 2k8... but here comes the problem: when I play I see on my TV screen some flashing diagonal lines every 15 seconds... they are like interferences (but I don't think they actually are interferences)... The same thing happens with the NBA 2k8 demo: when attacking with the Spurs, there are these diagonal flashing thin lines on the screen and it is extremely annoying...
I've tried everything: I bought 2 different HDMI cables, I bought a component cable, I tried the ps3 on another TV, I tried it even with nothing connected to the TV (I mean without the DVD player or the satellite decoder)...
Don't think it is a TV issue: I have a LG 32" HdReady which is 4 months old and all the other games are superbly visualized...
Even more, I have another NTSC game (MLB 2k7) and I can play it perfectly, without any kind of problem...
I read across the net that could be a ground loop, but the symptoms are not the same of a ground loop: I can see perfectly every DVD Blue Ray...
Please help me, this bug is really driving me crazy and, what is more, is ruining my playing experience!
well i guess the guy in ur link solved it-do u still have the problem? if so, consider plugging in your cable to a power bar (if you havent already), not a cheap power bar, and then connect the ps3 cable to the radioshack adaptor and that to the power bar. if that does not work, well, sorry dude. new ps3 for u
