I have read many guides but I'm still confused. I have 3.40OE and would like to get up to speed with the lastest M33 firmware.

What do I need to do?

I have read several guides and it seems like I have to start back at installing an early version of M33 and then upgradeing 3 or 4 times.

Can someone outline the steps for point me to an easy to understand thread of the instructions?

if you read the rules first it will say to do a search to see if your question has been answered,i take it you didn't do a search as this question has been answered so many times before!!!!!!!!!!!

From what I've heard, it's a BITCH upgrading to 3.71 M33-2 from 3.40 OE. It's not even really worth it unless you wanna use PTFs or you need to play a game which requires a 3.70+ update. The ONLY reason I'm [soon to be] on 3.71 is b/c I'm getting a slim in teh mail.

naw its pretty easy. i did my psp from 3.4 oe-a to 3.71-m33#2 lastnight. you need to firstly go to 3.52m33 then update to 3.52m33#4 then to 3.71m33. use easy installers its a piece of cake.
