I've been trying to resize some images I have to the standard 480x272 for Pic1.png format.

Problem is that the pics won't resize properly! Whichever I adjust, the other (height or width) compensates and changes, and I can't get a proper sized image.

Anyone know of any tricks to get around this?

Thanks for your help.

Create a new image and choose 480x272

Now use the box Marquette tool to select the image your tryin to resize and drag it to the new image. Center it on the new image and save.

Or

Untick the Constrain properties box when resizing. But this will distort the image.

Photoshop is WAY too complicated for menial tasks such as these. Try this: Download IrFanView and just click Image>Resize/Resample and make sure "Preserve aspect ratio" is UNchecked. BAM! Now that's easy!

PhotoShop isnt that hard to figure out.

And it is pretty much the same as what you suggested guano.

All he needs to do is untick the Constrain properties box to resize it.

But that method and your method would distort the image.

Yeah, this was the bit I was having issues with. Eventually sorted it out though.

Cheers for the help though, everyone!
