maybe 40 bucks on ebay. or you can send it to sony for free and get a nice new Official 3.71 firmware psp.... go with a pandora.

yeah u do if you are making a pandora. but yeah u need another psp with homebrew compatability just to make the battery. the other way to unbrick is to send it to sony tho, they have a Jigkick and will unbrick it for you. <---(the downside is that u get official 3.71 firmware in the process)... you can also pay 40 bucks to unbrick it on ebay... (or do it free) thats up to you.

you can do it without another psp, but it requires physical modification of the battery. and if something goes wrong, it's a full pandora's battery.
ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure
got a whole lot more to list . . .

you take the battery...run the HOMEBREW app and then you press X to modify the battery....the app is called Pandora's Battery Creator and it comes with the original pandora files.

go HERE to find instructions for the physical mod. remember, you take full responsibility for whatever happens.

I got the pandora file. Is there a step-by-step thread? Can I put that file on the xmb with a card reader/writer and then put it in the psp. Will it read it? How would I do this.

not bad, can it be done with "el cheap-o" batteries? such as no brand 1200mah batteries? id love to mod this one and put my 1800 back to normal... (right now my 1200 is corrupted, still good for gaming but cant be flashed).

best if it's the official sony batteries. never know if the no-name brands are made differently. maybe you can try it on your 1200?
keep your 1800 as a pandora's, and get a official 2200 as a main.
sony needs to release the replacement battery cover for the slim. i want my 2200 in my slim!

i thought there would be a huge bump on the right side, but when i use my pandora to flash 3.71 m33-2, it was 1/8 inch difference.

I checked that link. Is phat/slim tech language or is that the old vs new psp? It seems this is for slim/new psp. What about this file you have to find to make it work?

it doesn't matter if it was tested on a slim. pandora's battery works for all psp's.
as for the magic memory stick, you will need to create that yourself, as it's illegal to distribute the files since it's sony files. there's a easy installer in the forum thread list.

the entire thing of homebrew is kinda funny... i mean yeah dax cant distribute his files because theyre copyrighted so he made a new thing that creates em for u... dun get how that can really bypass law but im still thankfull for that.... and ppl are worrying about pandoras when torrents are up xD

which brings up the easy installer. does the installer include the files already? or does it bypass the whole command prompt part?
