Hey i need help on what my ps2 version is and what swap magic kit i need. My ps2 have 8 scews on the bottom so which version is it plus what kind of swap magic kit do i need is it one with the slide card or what. thx n peace out.

Look at the back of your ps2.
you will see something like this.


Then go here to see what version ps2 you have.
http://www.mod-chip.com/en/ps2version.htm
If its the Fat PS2 you will either need a slide tool, of a fliptop(recommended)
PS2 slim you will need magic keys or magic pro, or just do a search for tape and tissue method.

You can get Swap Magic 3.6 or Swap Magic 3.8 coder.
YOu need to know if its PAL or NTSC.
Depends where you live to tell you where to get it.

If you are in USA or Canada ur NTSC
if you are in europe New Zeland or austrlia you are pal

So when you find somewhere online to buy it from, there will be a place to select what PS2 you have. They then send you the proper one.
As said before you can buy Swap Magic 3.6 or Swap Magic 3.8 for NTSC.
