please can someone help ?.
i have a tv capture card Bought in turkey ,presently using the software supplied with it, i send my video's from my sharp dv-hr300 dvd player/recorder/harddrive to pc via the tv card, i save files as avi but, saving 2minutes of video uses aprox 1gig.why is this? when an average film of 1 1/2 hrs is only 1gig.
I have the options saving as Avi / mpeg1 / mpeg 2 / vcd /svcd/dvd
stream formats rgb555 / yuy2 / yvu9
and my output is 720x576.
i want to send a small video of about 300mb to my family. via email.
this is how im trying to do it , but im probably going the wrong way can you help please.
I right click on the file and select zip and email this then goes from 300mb to about 100mb but i still get the error message not enough memory.
is there a better way of doing this.
Thanks in advence jud.

upload it to a place like rapidshare or megaupload then send them a download link. also to answer your video Q check what the kbps is and try to lower it to maybe 1000 also check the framerate

most e-mail over a 4gb won't go to normal e-mail accounts, i woul up the file to a place like you send it and it stays there for like seventytwo hours and it sends the recepent a link so they can get the video and it is free, verry good little site
