If you have a PSP SLIM then you will need to create a Pandora battery + Universal Unbricker to reinstall the 3.71 M33 custom firmware.

If you have a FAT PSP and can get into recovery mode (Turn off PSP hold R trigger button down while turning the PSP back on) then go HERE and download the recovery folder.

Now when in recovery menu toggle the USB and place the extracted RECOVERY folder into the /PSP/GAME folder. Now toggle the USB off and then choose RUN PROGRAM AT /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP

This will recover the PSP FAT back to 1.50 firmware.

If the PSP FAT can not go into recovery menu then its a full brick and you will need to create a Pandora battery + Magic Memory Stick to recover.

Flashing the flash0 wasn't a problem if you flashed it via recovery menu. The problem in 3.71 M33/M33-2 was flashing flash0 from the VSH menu. I think 3.71 M33-3 has corrected this issue but have not tested it.

The safest way to flash your flash0 is doing it through recovery menu. Go HERE and follow the steps on flashing and backing up your flash0 correctly when on 3.71 M33/M33-2/M33-3 firmware.

As long as you have a 3.71 M33 compatible theme and flash it via recovery menu and follow the guide I linked to above it will work perfectly fine.

You need to show hidden files and folders and Untick the box that says (Hide Protected Operating System files) in the flash0 window. This will give you access to the full flash0 files.

If you didn't do the above steps then you would get a semi-brick or full brick.

Do a full re-flash on your PSP and try it again.

Yes I did go to the link you gave. Did you download the RECOVERY folder I linked to? Instead of snapping at me why don't you try what I said and see if it works.

Your trying to use the recovery folder for firmware 3.52 M33 and below which will not work for 3.71 M33 custom firmware.

The other guy was doing the same thing as you. He then used a recovery folder for 3.71 M33 that works through the XMB. You said you can not boot to the XMB so I gave you the recovery folder/files needed to recover via Recovery Menu.

Delete the RECOVERY folder your trying to use now and replace it with the RECOVERY folder I have linked to above. Then select RUN PROGRAM AT /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP

If you can't get into the recovery menu or boot to XMB then you have a full brick. You will need a Pandora Battery and Magic memory Stick to recover.

Is there any chance that you backed up your NAND dump?

You're kind of screwed... If you've actually bricked your PSP and I mean brick as in BRICK...Let's put it this. If you've actually done a flash1 corruption brick on your PSP and you have no nand backed up or whatever then I suggest that a friend or w.e. upgrades/downgrade to your firmware then ask him to backup a nand of your PSP. Now, try the nand on your PSP. There's around 90% chance of screwing your PSP badly, but you're already screwed badly so why not take the risk - I'm not responsible if you permanently brick your PSP.

When messing with the font folder is automatically cause flash1 corruption.

To get a nand dump for your friend, just insert your Magic MS and JigKick in his PSP. Making sure he has your firmware before you bricked. Now, on the Pandora screen it will say backup nand and restore nand. Back the nand and then place the JigKick and Magic MS into your PSP then choose restore nand. Cross your fingers because there's a really small chance in it working.

When you place the JigKick and Magic MS into your PSP(after restoring nand) it should go into the Pandora menu. Now, choose restore nand and you're done.Just hope that the XMB bar comes up.
