Will a Pokemon Battle Rev backup properly connect to DS?

I have a backup PBR that works fine, other than it doesn't want to seem to connect to my legit Pokemon Diamond. When I try to connect, the DS screens go white and the Wii doesn't find it. What's going wrong here?

It should be working fine if you have legit copy of Diamond. Theres been known problems when using a SuperCard, or any other flash cart, but legit copies of diamond should work. Maybe you should try an reburn the game an 2x.
