memory stick problem?

My one gig memory stick, will not pick up that I have any music on my psp. It shows, "there are no tracks". What can I do, because my computer picks it up that I have music and its spelled right and in the right place. Please right back.

What format is the music? PSP supports mp3 and AAC formats, otherwise they should not play, let alone appear.

I have MP3 Formats in the MUSIC drive, does it matter if it Read Only?

The FILES are read only or the FOLDER is read only?

Well, I'm not too sure about it, but I guess it's always safe to stick with folders/files with normal attributes.

Can you play the game using that memstick ? If you can, then your memstick is normal, maybe your psp need to reflash. If it can't read anything inside the memstick, maybe your psp memstick reader is broken. Since it can be read by PC, then I assume your memstick is normal, maybe.

Just try your memstick to the other PSP, if it works fine, then you need to reflash your PSP, if the problem still occurred, sell your PSP and get the new one :P (or go to someone that can fix your PSP)
