TA-082 help! update 2.60 to 2.71 then downgrade to ALex

I just bought a psp version 2.60 from a friend, but I have found that you can't downgrade if your psp has an TA-082 (IG1003! Is there any possible way to downgrade V2.60 having a psp-1001?

You CAN download a TA-082 (I think someone already asked this, was it you? lol).
Anyway, either upgrade to a FW which has a downgrader/can be exploited or use pandora's battery.
I recommend upgrading to 3.50 and then using Fanjita's 3.50 downgrader to get to 1.5

Yes, it was me!
I have tried to update my psp to 2.71 where I could downgrade to 1.5. The only bad thing is the file from psphack is corrupted. I might try the Fanjita's 3.50 downgrader?

I personally recommend downloading your update files from here as this is arguable the most reliable source for PSP eboots, homebrew apps, FW etc on the internet. U should have no problems with file corruption and such from pspupdates.qj. At least I haven't through over 20 FW upgrade/downgrade processes all using files from here.

I have just tried it, but its says it can't be started. I'm probably doing something wrong. I have tried to do it all over again about 3 different times.

Why would you suggest to someone that has a PSP with 2.60 firmware to upgrade to 3.50? Let alone you didn't tell them you need the Lumines game to downgrade using the game exploit. All he has to do is upgrade to 2.71 and use the 2.71 downgrader which doesn't require a game exploit.

Are you still on 2.60 firmware?
If so go HERE and download the 2.71 EBOOT.
Create a folder named UPDATE
Now rename the 2.71 EBOOT that you downloaded to EBOOT.PBP and drag it into the UPDATE folder.
Now drag the UPDATE folder to /PSP/GAME folder on PSP MS.
Now run the update.
If the file says corrupt or doesn't show then try dragging the EBOOT.PBP file from the UPDATE folder to your /PSP/GAME folder and see if it works that way.
If you still have issues let us know.

Oh yes, sorry. I presumed he already knew that u needed it for Fanjita's. Anyway, go with the 2.1 downgrader Venom :)

Go HERE and follow the guide. Look under the section of -2.71 PSP (TA-82 or TA-86).

i clicked on the 1.5 enabler, but it says the game could not be started (80020148). What can I do to fix this. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you start HEND?
You need to go to the Photo Icon and press triangle then choose slideshow and it should load HEND.
After running the HEND file via Photo Icon go to System Settings> System Information> and make sure it says HEND under system software (If it doesn't say HEND then try loading the HEN files again via Photo Icon).
When it says HEND run the 1.50enabler and then UPDATE X.YZ.

Did you not read the guide I provided above?
it clearly says...
