hey,

i dropped my psp a while ago...yeah i no, be more careful. Anyway thankfully it still worked and everyhting but the power swtch had snapped off so for a while i was using a pen to turn it on. All was well until randomly the psp does not power up and the power light LED flashes when i turn it on and then nothing else. I have NOT tried any homebrew or hacks so it cant be bricked can it?

any ideas? or links to where i can get a power switch board from maybe its that. btw i live in the uk.

get it open mate, and see if there's any problems.

you can go to a game store or to someone you trust.

yeah i might give that a try in a min, but if the power light still flashes, the circuit must still be working?

Probably something behind the LCD (which u can't see from simply removing faceplate) so it looks like you'll need hardware replacement :)

well the face plate is made from plastic which can bend, the screen is made from glass so even i tiny bend and it will smash. the annoying thing is to check if it is smashed is to unplug the screen while only leaving the small plug in for some reason
