I also found this post while searching for the downgrader that i found quite amusing:
This is complicated so stay with me.
You first need a number 2 pencil, a 2' long peice of 30awg kynar wire, a soldering iron, a hot glue gun, a 1 watt led, and finally some shoe blue polish.
On the pencil, you want to solder the wire to the metal eraser part. Then wrap the wire around it until you have a coil. Use the hot glue and paste the other end of the wire down.
Take the 1 watt led, solder it to the end that you just glued down.
Take the shoe polish and cover the eraser.
Now wave the contraption over the psp and BAM, you have 1.50!
