need more info before we can help buddy. Whats the three letter ext on the end of the file (My money is on .wii)

If it is a .wii file then you need to download rawdump and unscramble the image which will leave you with a .iso file that you can burn.

Where did you dl it from? Are there any comments post there about it being ok to run the .exe? Possibly the .exe will extract the iso, but I would check and make sure others have been successful with this wherever you got it from o you don't get a trojan.

Run the .exe and see if that gives you an iso. I would. Or ask the perosn who gave it to you if thats how they extracted it.

.exe? Seems like a malicious virus or something like that haha. It should have been .wii if they dumped it from the retail disc. Then if they descrambled it it would be .iso.

How big is the file? Did you run a virus scan on it? You may have gotten taken for a ride by your friend on this one.

This is horrible advice. I would never recommend that you run any .exe file that you don't know if it is harmless.

There is one thing that you can try.

delete the .exe extension and rename it to .iso then see if you can burn it.
