hey guys this is really strange i used to upload everything back and fourth from my pc to my psp and now all of a sudden im getting error messeges about "its faster to use a usb 2.0" and i do have 2.0 but then it was taking at least 10 minutes to transfer a game... so i was like "cool as long as it gets transfered..." and now the psp just wont get recognized.. its giving me USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED what do you guys think the problem is?? is it just my usb cable going dead?

Who knows, could be faulty PSP, faulty USB cable, faulty PC (hope not eh? =D) Just switch usb cable, try it again, switch computers, try it again, use a process of elimination :)

process of elimination sounds good. I had to restart my laptop one time to fix that problem. I think it was only because inserted my flash drive while media player was running to cause a crash.

i'm not a pro at pc so i don't know what process of elimination or whatever but i solved my problems by rebooting my pc.

if you have windows xp, vista , w/e then just dig out your disc containing the files of whatever your pc system is.if you can't find it, then relax, just pop down to your nearest shop and ask the staff for a pc disc that's compatible with your pc.i had my own, so i rebooted mines no bother.

reinstall u usb port drive and reboot pc.

Maybe it's something wrong with your memory stick. Thats what happened with my one.
