I've got a dvd+rw drive on my new comp, can I put a dvd-r drive in the space below it and have both formats available to copy onto? or do i have t have a dvd+/-r all in one drive? is it worth gettin a dvd-r drive???

No it's not worth getting a second DVD-R drive because for nearly the same price, you could buy a duel writer +/- R.

Yeah you could if you have a spare ide available or pci expansion card etc....

But as Koola says.....due to costs a dual format burner would be more economical and also leave you with a free ide available for a monster HD or something.....

...............PIO is no go, DMA all the way...............

a ide is a cable i.e IDE Cable, these connect your cd roms dvdr harddrive and floppy to your mother board

if you wernt sure that is
