Help! No memory detected!

Allright first I'll like to thanks the people who have taught me how to use the eBoot file to load a psx game into a psp.

So I have this 3 disc RPG game. Ive completed disc 1, and the game prompts me to load disc 2.

And so i saved the game, exit to the main screen of the psp, and loaded the disc 2.

It loaded ok, but however when I go into the memory card, it says theres no saved file, thus im unable to continue from where im left off in disc 1.

But when I opened the disc 3 file, it detected my saved files, and I was able to choose the saved file from disc 1 and load it, after which it promps me to load disc 2. (since its disc 3)

May I know whats the problem thats causing this? Is there a bug with the disc 2 file?

it must be a bad rip from disc 2. Thats the only reasonable cause from being able to play skip 3 with memory saves right?
