Hi,

Does anyone have any information on the forthcoming Res Evil title for the Wii, The Umbrella Chronicles? Am a big fan of this series, Res Evil 4 is my fav game of all time, just hoping this is not another filler like the "Outbreak" series!? Also, anyone have any idea of the release date for this title for Ireland?

As far as I know, release dates for all consoles are still yet TBD. I can't hardly wait!

Nooooooo, its a 1st person shooter???? Why oh why would they do that to me?? Fraid I'm not a big fan of FPS's, for some reason I get physically dizzy playing them... I feel as let down as I did when I found out there was no Santa!!!

^^^it's not a FPS in the sense you're thinking it is. it's an on rails shooter like the House of the Dead games. so you're not running around Doom 1st person stylem, but rather being guided through the game while fighting off zombies and w/e else.

I think we may be a bit confused here. I was made to believe that Resident evil ( wii edition) is the on the rails shooter. Resident evil 4 the umbrella cronicles is a mixture of the original game play plus shooter in some areas.

So are The Umbrella Chronicles a mixture of first person shooter and third person shooter? From watching the released video and pics of the game I thought it was solely a FPS?
