nobody's been banned using ixtreme 1.2rev2

unless you have a hitachi 0079fk, no, you do not need to solder.
very easy software mod for the hitachis

Knowledge is power, ignorance is weakness.

Ya, it's just a Firmware Hack! You just plug the Xbox 360 DVD Drive to a PC, and change the Original Firmware with the HAcked Firmware!

What about if you have played non-stealth backups on LIVE with an ms28 before the ban hammer came down in May. If I upgrade to Ixtreme, what are the chances I will be banned? I haven't been online since April also, what are the chances I am already banned?

It's a pretty decent chance you are banned. You may as well check. No point in updating to ixtreme 1.2 if you are already banned.

I thought about just checking to but I don't want the next time I go online to raise the first red flag to MS about my modded 360. Maybe I will just update to ixtreme, then try it. Thanks.

he cant check if its a 79 unless he opens it...

also right now M$ does not detect the firmware it detects non stealth back-ups so unless you played a non stealth back-up recently you wont be banned....

You can ask him, "what's the manufacture date on the back?" 0079 drives didn't start showing up until March 07. Also ask him if it's a replacement/refurb, because MS has been known to put new drives in older shells. You could also try to make sure to buy one with a Samsung drive that way you know you'll have the best drive possible.

No soldering is required for flashing any Samsung drive. If you don't care about Live and want to play Xbox 1 backup on single layer DVDs Samsungs are the only ones that can do it. Technically the Hitachi 0078fk is the easiest to flash drive, but you can never know for sure what Hitachi drive in is a 360 until you open it up.

Just the red lights. Doesn't matter now I through the F***ing thing on the ground. Next I'm going to film myself smashing the 360 with a sledge hammer and post it on Youtube for Bill Gates. Keep your eye out over the next week.

Don't they cover the thre red light thing now - just send it back to MS.

I have the ms28 drive with an old flash and have yet to be banned - do I even bother upgrading to the iextreme flash if so far I have been fine. And Ihave been online since banhammer went down.
