Frankenstiening together a couple of broken psp's into one working one. I got everything taken apart and put back together. Cut it on and no sound. I checked the key tone to make sure it was on and turned it all the way up. Also made sure it wasn't muted. So I switched the speakers. Still no sound. Okay. So I changed the mother board. Still no sound. So I switched the speakers on that motherboard. Still no sound. The speakers can only be fitted in one orientation so I couldn't have installed them incorrectly I do not believe.
Anyways I searched the forums and came across a similar thread but with no resolution.
Any ideas or suggestions?
I mean I doubt that both broken psps had sound trouble but I can't be sure since they were not able to be cut on until I fixed them into one working system.
I'm slowly going insane with this...
Thanks
thats the only problem you ran into? no sound? i ran into that when installing my full clear case, but i just did it over again a little bit after the lcd brace and put it back together and it worked.
Yeah it's nice to know that it happens to others but it's still aggravating to not know what the heck is going on. I mean are the speakers that sensitive!?
Yeah everything functions as it should.
It charges.
It plays umd's
It reads the memory stick
all the buttons function
Everything is cool except no sound.
I don't have earphones so I can't check the sound through that though.
