I am about to buy a psp and have one last question. I have read this guide for downgrading:

So if I get a 3.50 firmware psp or lower, I'll be able to download all games and homebrew and stuff like that right?

yep.but first you must downgrade if you have a firmware higher than 1.5.

if the firmware is higher than 3.50 then the pandora method is you way to go.

yep.once you downgrade to 1.5 then just upgrade up to either 3.52m33-4 or 3.71m33-2

so you're saying I couldn't just leave it the way it is after i get to 1.5 with the lumines method and that i'd have to do something else?

which one do you prefer to get the MOST out of my psp out of the two firmwares you listed?

3.71m33-2.but before you try to upgrade to 3.71m33-2, you need to upgrade to 3.52m33-4.
