I need help. I have a 3.03 OE-C system on my PSP. ive downloaded new games like NBA LIVE 08, TRANSFORMERS & JACKASS. eveytime i play those games on my PSP this error message appear upon loading "The game could not be started (80020148)". what should i do?? do i need to upgrade my firmware to a higher one? or it can b done by just changing my configuration? thanks

you need a firmware update, badly. all of the games you listed needs at least 3.30 or higher firmware.

the best firmware to use is 3.52 m33-4 if you like homebrew, or 3.71 m33-2 if you want to stay up to date.

thanks cee43ja1.. how did you know that it needs ver3.30? if i upgraded it to 3.52 or 3.71 would i still be able to play .iso games? and can you give me an instructions on how to update my psp? thanks

first you gotta put it back to 1.5 to be safe... using this

then put it to 3.52m33 and update to 3.52m33-4 sendspace file by sicdude..

thanks msdn... ill download all the files and ill try to install it.. its my 1st time updating my FW and im not a techy person.. i hope it all has an auto extraction so that it would be easy for me to install it.. thanks for the reply men.. ill update you guys as soon as ive update it...
