yeah, i love that prx. It's very useful for me. Holding L trigger when pressing it shuts it off, if you just hit X on it. It will restart your psp. I push X on it and then gold R trigger to go into recovery. Haha. The actual name of the prx your switching is the update_plugin.prx. Mines came in a theme pack. If i find it, i will post.

btw they cannot update you psp unless they downgrade to 1.50 so in reality this does nothing unless they can take it to the recovery menu... but if you start the update you will get an error code (DADADADADA) and the firmware willnot begin if you are on a cfw. the only way to do it is possibly by going to recovery and runnign program at psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp.

but in the event that sony releases a higher firmware, don't want my little cousins to mess with the firmware. they have a tendency of messing with my systems, without my consent.

yeah, they can access recovery as long as they hit the network update icon and then hold r trigger for about 4 seconds. Theyll enter the reovery and probably think they figured something out and play with it. Hah.

disable it as in, you hit X on it and it doesn't do anything at all except make a sound? It must be for PSP fats only.

i press x, and in the bottom right corner shows the online loading icon for a second. holding l or r does nothing, too.

but i'll still take it.
