Well, sorry if this question has been asked already.
I currently have a 2.71 Fat TA-082. I've finally installed DevHook5.1 and it can run a 3.01 firmware.

Anyway a few questions.

1. Can I still update to 3.71M33 without removing Devhook and RendD?

2. Is it safe to use it with a 2.71 TA-082?

3. Is there a way to just install the firmware onto Devhook such as extracting the prax or such file and inserting a folder for it?

4. Any other suggestions to get to 3.71M33

Im not sure what RenD is but you will no longer need DevHook with 3.71, just place the ISO's into the ISO folder and run straight from memory card.

You can't use Devhook to install custom firmware. You don't even need to use Devhook at all once you get a custom firmware installed on your PSP so forget trying to use it.

You need to downgrade your 2.71 PSP to 1.50 then update to 3.52 M33-4 then to 3.71 M33-2 + 1.50 ADD ON-2 custom firmware. So follow the below links...

Go HERE and look under the section of -2.71 PSP (TA-82 or TA-86) to downgrade your 2.71 (TA-82) PSP to 1.50 firmware.

After you have downgraded to 1.50 firmware go HERE to update to 3.52 M33-4 (You need to be at 3.52 M33-4 before upgrading to 3.71 M33)

After you have updated to 3.52 M33-4 go HERE to update to 3.71 M33-2 + 1.50 ADD ON-2 custom firmware.
