People definately have them, i got my wii modded last Sunday and the guy who did it showed me 6 prototypes of the new chips.

u still didn't answer the question. i'm calling b/s. i just find it hard to believe that a chip that isn't even readily available to the public is already in the hands of modders with "6" prototypes and doing installs. if that were the case we would definately know about it.

distributers got a few early batches to test and show that it works.
perhaps its not showing up a lot on afterdawn, maybe if you dig a little deeper you'll find some pics. the full distribution is set to be shipped oct 20th. while early batches were sent out to preorders and select distributers.

ok, well assuming you do have one. how does it run? any problems? also, how much did u pay to get it installed? it seems pretty hard to to install.

My original question still hasn't been answered. Most people on this forum expect concrete proof of claims and many people have been banned for not providing it. Now I'm not saying that any of you don't have the chips or don't have a modded wii with one, I just want to see some proof. Where did you get them... a name, a link, anything, just show us that you're not making this up and you'll earn credibility. If you're not lying then you have nothing to worry about right? ;)

D2C chips have been available in small quantities, and have been verified to work. There's even a couple different install diagrams you can follow. This isn't really any big secret... not sure why anyone has had difficulty finding this out.

Well, who do you think the manufacturer would give their chips to for testing besides modders? It's common practice to send out a couple samples for testing in a couple different machines.
