Psp Slim From Hell?

I have a couple of Iso And Cso and such but when I put them in my x:/Iso/ they dont read the icon pops up on the psp but when you click on it , it stops automatically and says 80020148 game could not be read

I looked at the internet to see what it meant it said prx type unsupported

which is weird because the app worked before, then I hade a Bad File on my memory card that was currupted once I Formated the memory stick And Put the old programs back , NONE of them worked and gave me that error



Things I tried:
Using Flash0 in Advance Configuations
Downloading a diffrent version of the app Nothing
Tried with diffrent files like Iso's and such, Gave same error
Tried all enabling and disabling no umd and such

Only things that worked where other apps that Claimed to help with the problem like KeyCleaner and such

Im going insane with this system to the point where I want to throw it at the wall and step on it please help/1

Also I read of similiar people having the same problem they said it could be the FW was bad and they said to downgrade and updating again should i try that if so How would i do it?would that Solve my problem and try updating again?


Im running a Psp Slim with 8gb Sony Pro Duo From best buy with CFW 3.71 m33-2

Games attemted to run

Final Fantasy Tactics Cso and iso *(I downloaded 2 diffrent ones)* both same result with that error

Lord of the ring Tactics cso and iso

Street fighter alpha cso

same error on all of them Please help any and all help will truly appreciate

nope =*(.. says supported and did the settings same thing.. just pops up saying game could not be started.. this is really frusterating

Do you have a smaller memory stick you could use and place 1 of those games on it and see if it runs?

Could be a problem with the 8GB Memory Stick.

I hade My old 1gb that I used for my fat psp gave me same error I thought it was the stick too since i Formated it when it was currupted then NOTHING worked just gave me that error This psp seriously doesnt like me lol

But what i did was order a Sandisk Card that should come in anyday now maybe its the brand that doesnt like me lol. Since both cards are Sony Maybe they are in some way fake if thats the case

you might have a bad firmware flash. the best way to reinstall 3.71 m33-2 is with the universal unbricker v3.

go HERE for instructions on how to create one.

well thats going to be tuff using the fat one since I sold it when I got my Slim psp I just kept the memory card of the fat one -.-'' things arent looking up for me ahha

this IS going to be tuff. do you have any friends that have a fat psp running 1.50 or custom firmware? because that's the only way to make the universal unbricker for the slim.

You will need a PSP running custom firmware 2.XX or higher 1.50 won't do. The Pandora Creator needs 1.50 Kernel but the Universal Unbricker needs 2.XX or higher to run the despertar_Cementerio application.

The only other option is going HERE and finding someone close to your location. In most cases they will make you the Pandora battery for free all you have to do is provide the battery and memory stick plus pay shipping both ways. (If you do this method make sure you tell them you have a slim PSP and want the Universal Unbricker 3 installed).

hahah all my friends have slims i just called them all they said all there firmware works they have

3.60 m33's
and
3.71 m33's

what a day im having.. ahhahaa

What driver are you useing in the recovery menu. Go to configuration and go down to UMD Mode and press X till it says SONY NP9660 -NO UMD-

The 80020148 error Pops up when trying to run some ISO/CSO without a umd in the PSP. The sony driver above allows most if not all ISO/CSO to be ran without a UMD.

ya i Tried that option and it still pops up Saying the same thing when using sony no umd

as for the pandora battery they said they will try to look for it hopeflly they can find it im still trying to look for any possible solutions
