Occasional disk errors after 1.9b

I have had my Wiikey installed for about six months and have never had one problem with backups. I installed 1.9b, and now every now and then I get a disk read error (not every time), I reboot the system and the game works fine, other than that minor inconvenience it works fine, any suggestions?.
