Hey guys.
Done many a search but can't find the answer to my problem. Basically im trying to copy a already backed up copy of a game (Stranglehold at the moment)
Im using CdClone, heres the steps im taking:
Inserting Stranglehold copy into my Sh-D162c drive
Put a blank verbatim disc in my writer
start cdclone and click on the direct disc copy button
I then get my first error - cannot get exclusive access to drive D (i click ignore)
Then my second error - not enough room on disc (i know there is so click write to end)
Get the finished disc and put it into my 360 and get the unreadable disc error.
Ive tried taking the ISO from the copy with DVDdecrypter then burning with IMGburn but still the same.
Its driving me mad! something i read is so easy using CDclone but ive wasted too many discs..
PLEASE help me people!
Thanks for taking the time to read,
Mark

When I have made backups of my backups, I usually will just rip it to the hard drive first, and then burn it, not an on the fly copy. So you could just pop it in, use clonecd option read to disc, and then write to disc after it is done ripping. This is the only way I have ever done it and it works. Hope this helps

If you have been using Nero or another copying program in the background you may get this message.
Try closing every other program off apart from clone cd and again try disc to disc on the fly.
I have had this message as well in the past and those are the steps i took to get past it.
hope it works for you too.

I can't understand what im doing wrong. CdClone is the only writing program running.
Tried a couple of times using DVD decrypter to extract the image to my hardrive then burning with IMGburn... no luck
I thought it should be as easy as pressing CD copy on CDclone :(
At the moment im extracting the image with xdvdMulleter and then gonna TRY burn yet again with IMGburn.
Really getting hacked off wasting discs

I've got the same problem. I've narrowed it down to my dvd writer just not bein good enough. Apparently the xbox360 drive is quite picky!

HI, I used the tutorial at the beginning of page 1 of this forum. It uses Clone CD and I copy form the Kreon drive (which shouldn't make a difference) and burn to a Pioneer. No problems with any games including Stranglehold. Oh and I burn to Verbatims.

Might have to hunt for a Pioneer drive then. Can't understand why thought as the drive im burning with can burn the original games no problems.

all you do is use nero 7 if you have and click on copy dvd then just put the blank dual layer dvd in the dual layer burner and the copy in the kreon drive.

Just been trying that with Nero. It read the disc for a while as normal but when it goes to burn it sticks on 4% forever!

have you tried doing it without doing a direct copy?
1. put original in Samsung drive
2. go to tools tab and click the unlock drive button
3. go to read tab and start it saving to the folder of your choice and wait for it to finish
4. now burn the image to a blank DVD with the program of your choice
also other programs like Xbox Backup Creator can both rip and burn the disc. Personally i do it like above and use IMGburn to burn them.

Just a note about burners: I have only used Pioneers to copy backups because that is the burner in my PC. For original copies, I have used all kinds of burners including generic laptop burners and they all still worked!

why make a simple task hard?
use imgburn to read and imgburn to copy
and where it is allready been riped from the orig disk with a kreon flashed drive you dont need to use it for a recopy, use any high quality dl burner just make sure the layer break is correct.
I have lost all and any respect i had for this site!
