I can get connected with my remote play when I do wireless connection via private network or when I connect to my PS3 via internet as long as I connect at my house through my home router, whenver I try to connect it at from a wireless hotspot I get a timed out message.

Things I have tried:

I have forwarded port TCP:9293

Any other suggestions?

What you may be forgetting is your ps3 must be on and set to remote play. So you would have to leave it on and set to remote play before you go out and try and access it.
