So when I boot to Slax all I get is a dos prompt that says 1962... any idea what that means?

Throw in some more info lol =) drive type and such and here is a random idea when u see that open the cd tray but n e ways throw in some more info so i can try and help ya

I'm trying to do this on a REALLY old computer actually, so I'm thinking that the problem is that comically enough there isn't enough RAM... I mean it's only got 32 megs...

Anyways, I got a friends who has a more... not paperweight... computer... I'm going to see what happens with that...

computers can run nowadays on 32 megs of ram????? i figured that the min to run any OS would be at least 256 now.

Ok.. i got all the way to the login screen... then logged in, and rebooted....

But my eject button seems to not work at all... I plugged int back to the Xbox, and it can read the discs in the drive... but it's just a bitch to get it to eject... and now I can't tell if it's in Mode B.... any advice?

click the open twice if it opens when u click it twice ur in mode be the thing being a bitch to open is good

OOOOOOH, you push the eject button DOWN, not IN! Crazyness.

Ok, then it's obviousdly not in mode B. it takes one push down to get it to eject. What do I need to do at the slax login screen? I logged in! I don't get it....

...ok... I keep getting stuck at the 'spinning up disc' part of booting to SLAX... but I know the raid controller is working because it found it in windows... and I'm fairly sure the wires are well connceted...

And help?

After it says spinning up disk for the second time in slax. Eject the drive and it will proceed.
