big problem with upgrade

I got a psp and i downgraded it to 1.5, but now i want it to run normal so i downloaded the 3.5 update and tried to install it but it keeps giving me a message saying "the system configuration of this psp system does not appear to be correct" so how do i upgrade the psp to 3.5 so it will run regular? thanks.

also the memory stick got formated because my friend thought he could fix it and now it's in 1.5 and not 1.5hen, and it doesn't seem to run stuff now....like lumines goes to a red screen (never goes to the blue and restarts) and then just shuts off.... so if you could help me that would be greatly appreciated.

looks like it's your ms's(memory stick)fault.and you want 1.50hen?why?just upgrade to a custom firmware.

i do not think its ur mstick problem

most likely causes is ur corrupted ID storage keys which there is no known way to replace them, other then from a friend who has the perfect keys and the same motherboard from you.

if u do not understand what i mean. try googling for my info

as a summary: ur psp cannot upgrade further then official firmware 3.11. but u can always upgrade to the latest custom firmware

does that TA-082 board means you can't upgrade to official firmware once you have downgraded?if yes, then check if you have TA-082.you can find if you have it by opening your umd bay and there should be some letters in the wee green bit.i'm not sure, it's just what i think.anyways, upgrade to custom firmware since you have 1.5.

i have a IC1003 motherboard, so does that mean i can upgrade? and do i for sure need the id codes from another friend, and if so how do I get them? Also lol where do I find the custom firmware? And lastly lol will the psp be able to run regular games when i get the custom firmware? lol sorry for all the questions but I'd really appreciate it if you could help again lol thanks.

I don't want to upgrade to hen, I want to upgrade to like 3.5 or 3.4 so I can play some of my psp games again lol.

upgrade to 3.52M33-4. you can play dled games and play your umd.

if you want to run official firmware again, you need to run chilly willy's keycleaner. you need to use the kxploitpatch because it's required on 1.50 to run any homebrew.

upgrading to custom firmware is basically the same as official firmware, but does more.

ok so your saying that i should just stick to custom firmware updates? (where do i get those) and i upgraded the psp to 2. something, should i redowngrade and just start using those custom firmware things?

since you have 1.5, then you don't need to downgrade.

download 3.52m33 and the update4 and then download 3.71m33 and the update2.follow the instructions CAREFULLY so you can do it smoothly.
