to booktype, right click on the drop down box which labels your DVD drive, then click 'change booktype'

or something along those lines....

Currently on my 7th PS3 and 4th Xbox, gotta love technology..

Sorry... but that's not helping me...

I go to change bookmark... and it asks me to select a drive, so I select my drive... then what? I can't change any plans, and the advanced tab doesn't bring anything up....

Any help anyone?

Is bitsetting the same as layer break? I found an option for that...

no, it is not the same. setting the layer break manually in IMGburn is needed if you burn the ISO file rather than using the .DVD file.

Booktyping is setting the burner to burn a disc with a different media type then it is.
Example, you set it to burn your DVD+R DL as DVD-Rom which is the format that an original game disc is in. Better compatibility.

Open IMGburn
Click on the little book icon towards the bottom right need the speed setting.
choose the tab of your DVD Burners maker (BenQ, Pioneer or whatever)
Then it shows option. First will be change from and you choose DVD+R DL. Next will be what you want to change to, whch will be DVD-Rom (both are drop down menu's)
Then hit the change button and a pop up will say it was successful.

Now, not all burners are able to booktype media so if you can not find your DVD drive maker in the tab, or your drive listed it may be that you can not booktype. It help with compatibility but is not 100% needed.
