blank screen when playing original games with wiikey mod

Hi, I am having problems playing original games on my Wii with the wiikey mod. The game loads fine on the channel screen but when I click start to play it just goes to a black screen.
I brought the Wii in Asia with a 3.00J update. The original games are european - Wii Sports and Zelda. Also some of my backup games are having the same problem. What seems to be the problem??

Any help would be appreciated!!
p.s. the original games work fine on my european wii

PAL games on a JAP Wii- Does not work

PAL games on a PAL Wii- Works

See something going on here? Yeah...you might not want to play PAL games on a Jap console. Especially if it has an update.

But if you still do then did you remember to check the compatibility chart to see if the games work on that region Wii?
