Please help me!
I recently travelled to Shanghai and bought several Wii Games over there which admiteddly were copies. The shop we bought them from was not a backyard dealer but in a market place so I had confidence that these games should work upon returning to Australia, But they didn't. Can someone tell me what I might be able to do to get them to work or why they are not working. I am not too great with "chip" talk etc so go easy on the explanation!

Mmmm. Sorry to be so "dumb" with this but basically I bought the Wii Console from a store in Australia and I certainly have done anything to it. Normal Wii Games work on it fine. I am more than happy to have a go at anything if you are prepared to talk me though it.

Yeah, you need to solder on a chip to play backups. Search the forums to find out more.

Should also mention the DVD blanks used in places like you mentioned use notoriously cheap blanks. The game may or may not play. Even if it does, it may be spotty.

Learned my lesson years ago.
