rainbow six vegas map packs.. problems loading up

hi..does anyone on here suffer from their map packs on r6v disappearing off their harddrive? when i go to play them 9 times out of ten they arent there but i havent deleted them and when check harddrive they are still there..anyone know how to combat this problem?

I have seen on occasion when a player that has a map pack loads their RB6 up it will tell them that the maps are not there. But after a restart they show back up. But it is usually not often. Your problem sounds a bit more advanced then that. Are the RB6 map packs the only thing that causes you problems as far as things you have stored on the HDD?

hi..yes it only seems to be the map packs that cause me problems.i bought a brand new elite,then downloaded the map packs again fresh to the harddrive and thought it would render the problem but no joy it still does it.i have to go into the memory section and click on the games save aabout 5 times to make them show up,but on a reboot they are gone again..driving me crazy

really have not heard of anyone with that problem myself. And i am in a Rainbow Six Vegas clan so i figure if it were a common problem then someone in the clan would have experienced it before. But like above the only time i have heard of this is that it does happen on a rare occasion to a player. Has happened to me just once. You may want to contact MS and see if they can (cough..cough) help you.
