Why can't I save in the psx games I play on my ps2?
I have some old games I would like to play on my ps2, but I can't save because the games don't detect my memory card. None of them detect the mem card, like Resident Evil 1,2, Metal Gear Solid and others. I have no problems saving on the normal ps2 games, but the older ones, like the ones for the old psx...not. why can you play a psx game on the ps2 if you can't save?

Are you using PSX memorycard? PS2 memorycards are for PS2 games only.
you will need a PSone memorycard.

thanks man. didn't know that. I mean i thought about it but...anyways, you confirmed it. too bad I don't have a psx memory card, I sold my psx years ago along with it...
