3.71 M33 and 3.52 M33 not going into recovery mode

help pls. My psp (3.71 M33) is not going into recovery mode. Everything else works fine. It just seems to ignore the R button and startup. My friend's psp has the same prblm (3.52 M33).
Can anyone help?????

can u go to recovery using the vsh menu? check if ur r button is faulty. if not then just reflash or see if u have a recovery.prx in the vsh main menu flash0.

But i have to hold the R switch for about 15 seconds for it to go into recovery.
Well, at least it works!

DarkP said you had to hold down 15 seconds on the R trigger.You're suppose to.

Here's the real way of accessing recovery:

1)Shut your PSP completely by holding switch for like 8 seconds.
2)Hold the R trigger.
3)Turn on PSP while holding R trigger.
4)Wait until the recovery menu pops up.

I had lots of problems because I didn't do recovery the right way.
