i have read some threads abt updrading/downgrading CFW and i got some questions im not sure abt

if i have the official 3.71 FW so do i use the Dark Alex despertar cementerio 3 method to make the psp with with CFW 3.71 m33-2 or do i have to downgrade my psp to 1.5 FW then use the Dark Alex despertar_cementerio 3 method?

and wat does kernal 2.xx or 3.xx mean?

and is .xx a number?

yes.. xx is a number

and if u are a newbie u dont have to bother about it.. it probably holds no meaning to you

anyway if u are on OFW there is no way for u to downgrade to 1.5

so ur next best option is using the despertar cemeterio to downgrade to 1.5 OR using it to upgrade to CFW 3.71 which ever u prefer

so i just follow the universal guide?

if you use the universal unbricker v3 (despertar cemetario), you have the option of putting 3.71 m33-2 or official 3.71. it does not have the 1.50 kernel patch, so you will have to put that too (fat psp ONLY)


DO NOT try to create the universal unbricker on your psp. you need a fat psp running custom firmware to make it.
