My backups used to work great. After I played Sega Rally Revo for the first time, any attempt to play a backup results in "Open tray" message. Anyone know if that game has an automatic update or anything?

What type of disks are u using, mine did this with strangle hold, i used a memorex disk , worked a few times then that message,i burnt it again with a verbatim disk, and boots fine everytime now.

yes, i would ask the same question. Cheap discs like memorex (memosux) tend to do that because they are made with cheap dye.

It could be just your laser dying. If you had your 360 over a year it's highly likely.

i doubt its the laser, its the media....lasers will die after 10000 of hours....you can tweak the lasers intensity of reading, thees a tutorial otu there somewhere
