hmm....
Go to recovery mode (switch off your psp completely, then switch on by holding r).
Now, go to configuration.
Where it says GAME FOLDER HOMEBREW,make sure it is 3.71.
Where it says UMD MODE, make sure it is on M33 DRIVER.
PSP HISTORY
1.50 - 3.50 - 3.51 - 3.52 - PANDORA - 1.50 - DEVHOOK - 1.50 - 3.40 oea - 3.52 M33 - 3.71 M33-2

go check which error code it is and what the problem is in the psp mod and firmware discussion. an error code problem is stickied there.also try putting a UMD in... while in the XMB press select if youre on 3.71 M33-2 or press HOME if youre on 3.52 M33-4 and then select the SONY NP9660.

plugins are like prx's like when u press something music plays... thats the music plugin for example. anyways the main stuff you need for gaming is in the VSH menu. it kinda bothers me to turn off my psp and turn it back on :D

HERE is an overview of the Recovery Menu. I know the title says 3.52 but the Recovery menu is the same.
I would change the UMD ISO mode to Sony NP9660 it is the most compatible driver for NO UMD yet.
HERE is a guide you can check out if you ever have issues running any other games in the future.
