i just burned "way of the samurai 2" on an intenso DVD-R but it doesn't work on my PS2+swap magic.

it always says "not a valid PS2 disc" but i read on many threads that "way of the samurai2" should work without problems

You should probably use better media to burn it on.

Also is this a slim ps2 and your using magic keys or similiar, make sure all the pieces are in place properly.
What version Swap Magic are using?

i thought the intenso DVD should work well...

i'm using swap magic 3.6 and the normal PS2 (not slim).
but what are magic keys ?

I only use the media suggested in that thread. Are you using the slide tool then or fliptop.
What program did you burn it with and at what speed. If your using 8x or 16x DVD then burn it at 4x.

i'm using silde tool and i burned the ISO with DVD Decrypter/Intenso DVD-R 1-16x. with speed 2x

Not sure of any other reasons then why it won't work other than the type of media, except try burning it at 4x.
Actually further searching on this forum I have found threads contrary to what you have found.
This one says to use Cogswap with this game and Swap Magic 3.6.

Another thread said he got it to load but it was slow and choppy with burning at 2x. So try burning at 4x.

i don't have /use cogswap cause you need a high toc PS1 game. and i don't have one
