Shit COOLnDRE, sorry to hear that man...
Nice to know you didn't beat your little cousin's though...
I would have thrown them out the window...picked them up...then slapped them round the face...
But I guess I'm just gonna do what you did and start fresh...
I know it's a good idea downloading Gamesaves but most of them are completed to 100% and I want to know it's ALL my own work...
Thanks for the reply man...

I went from 3.40 OE-A to 3.52 m33 then 3.71 m33-2 and then my nba live 08 save file (with amazing team and season saves!) was no longer recognised.
Why the hell would something like that happen? considering how the firmwares are all done essentially by the same person (DarkAleX)?

I don't know why or how it could happen...
But it doesn't happen to everyone or people would be going mental over this really...
Maybe someone might recognize the problem and get something to fix it...but until then, I'm still praying...

the only possible reason i can fathom is that the change from the old OE firmwares to M33 ones causes corruptions, at first i thought I lost my nba iso and had to get it again. I checked i hadn'tgot the pal one instead of the ntsc but it was the same.
Oh well, was a good thing actually since my new miami team is better now. Sold Wade for 'Melo and now i am nba champs 08!

Got exactly the same problem with corrupted saves on various games as soon as I went from 3.40 to m33. Tried on all flavours of m33 up to 3.71 (with the latest updates, although see that 3.71-3 is out now so will try that later)
Have gone back to 3.40 and they all work fine so the saves arent corrupt and the mem sticks are AOK, but now with games requiring higher then 3.40 its giving me some tough choices.
Anyone got anyother ideas, have tried upgrading from 3.40, upgrading from 1.50 (using pandora), changing settings in the boot menu (cpu, use UMD etc) and it doesnt go away untill I go back to 3.40.
Just seems that M33 sees certain save files as corrupt if they where made under 3.40.....
Have hours and hours worth of saves but want to be able to play latest games as well.....

Cheers Luffypsp but if I go back to 3.40 the saves work AOK so they are not corrupt and the memory cards are 100% genuine (learnt my lesson a while back on buying cheap ebay cards....)
Some posts seem to mention a hexeditor but cant find a walkthrough
As an additional note Manhunt 2 gives an 800110306 error code against the corruption error (other games just state data corrupted or similar). Any one out there know how to fix the code?
Cheers

I'm gonna tell everyone with the same problem as me the truth...
You wanna play those save games real bad? Downgrade back to 3.40OE...
If you wanna keep your M33 firmware then you're starting the game again...
I literally spent a week doing anything and everything on my PSP to solve the problem but nothing works...
Sorry for the devestating news dudes...

Just bury those games, theirs enough of them out there, its not like my ps3 that only has like 8 crap titles....what a f$%$%ing dissapointment.....i knew i got ripped off when 360 call of duty allows two players on screen and online on the same tv ps3 doesnt do either..piece of junk..lets face it games are only fun if you can play against your friends

Does anyone know if I update 3.71 M33-2 to M33-3 that I'm going to lose my saves again?
got real far on manhunt 2 and thrillville, don't want to lose them!
how come savefiles from the internet like Action Replay/gamefaqs.com work regardless? They don't dictate which firmware they were working on
strange problem this

Chances are you won't lose your save games...
I'm not guaranteeing you anything...but it really really shouldn't make a difference at all...

That addition to M33 doesn't overwrite save files. It just adds a small revision to f0. In fact, it doesn't do anything at all to your vsh or files on your memstick.

i think i know your problem... its your psp being updated not your mem sticks or something. what you do first is you open your disc cover and look in the top right most corner of the green colored computer chip behind all the silver disc frame thing and everything( again its top right most corner, your going to need a bit of light to see it) okay now
here are your options
1.if there is no serial number there then you may have to get anohter psp becasue you have the first generations which when downgraded may not work well with new games and becasue it doesnt work with them causes game saves to be corrupt.
2. if you DO see a number and letters there reply back with the numbers you see and ill see what i can do for you
again this is just minimal speculations not entierely sure hope this helps

its behind the disc tray on the green computer chip in the top right most corner and it doesnt affect everyone just unlucky people. Because of the coding of the old generation psp, the games may no run due to an edit in the system when you flash your psp to a custom firmware it may overwrite the system to be corrupt. lots of things may happen after , isos may not run, game saves may not register/show up as corrupt, and various other problems when trying to change the motherboards firmware.
