The Wii will not play any of the discs that I have recently burned, but does still play all the backups that I burned previously. Obviously, this sounds like the problem is with my DVD burner, or the media I am using, but the DVD burner appears to working well, and I am using high quality Verbatim media.

Could this problem at all be related to my Wiikey?

No, I have not. Do you think I need to?

PS: All the backups I am using, including the more recent copies that it will not play, are all NTSC-U (my own region).

Well that is bizarre. Have you done anything differently in the burning process?

No, absolutely nothing different. It is driving me crazy. I've tried burning 3 different games on two different types of media, at several different speeds - but the result is always the same! I would say that my laser has gone from the burner, but everything else I burn (DVDs, music, PS2 games) plays fine.

I've tried that, but the Wii won't read the config disk either.
